4/15/2002 - In September, NCS became the OFFICIAL CONSERVATION SERVICE of NGC. Seeing the need for professional conservation services in the hobby, NGC closely monitored our efforts and the impressive results of our unique, tested and proven conservation treatments.

The American Numismatic Association offered conservation as one of its member services. This service was discontinued in March of 2002 when the ANA named NCS as their official conservation service.
