8/1/2004 - With so many collectors discovering the Washington quarter series in the past few years, it's odd that little interest has been shown in the three subtypes of 1934.

8/1/2004 - Please note the following fee changes for Walk Thru Show submissions: Coins valued at $1,500 and under are $65 per coin and Gold Coins valued at $1000 and under are $40 per coin (5 coin minimum for gold service). These price changes are effective September 1, 2004.

8/1/2004 - NGC will offer Onsite Grading and Encapsulating at The Long Beach Show in Long Beach, California September 8-10, 2004. In addition to the $100 and $65 Same Day show services being offered, NGC will also run a $40 Gold Special.

7/19/2004 - A rare and valuable coin submitted to NGC for grading during the recent Suburban Washington/Baltimore coin show was recognized by NGC as one reportedly stolen last January. The 1919-S quarter dollar has now been certified and encapsulated, and soon it will be returned to its rightful owner.

7/15/2004 - Creators of the Image Comics hit, the Gray Area, will be at the Comics Guaranty, LLC (CGC) booth to sign comics for their fans on Saturday, July 24th, from 2:30pm to 3pm. CGC representatives will be on hand to witness the signatures and accept Signature Series submissions. This is an amazing opportunity for collectors and CGC Signature Series enthusiasts. Signatures will be limited to two per person so that as many people as possible will get a chance to get their comics signed.
