1/1/2003 - This year's convention of the Florida United Numismatists (FUN) held Jan. 8-11 was an amazing one for NGC. Submissions of coins for grading onsite were very heavy, while NGC broke its own record for regular submissions returning to the office for grading.

There are also a variety of other elements that we have come in contact with, that when transferred to the coin by improper handling can cause permanent damage to a coin's surface.

11/1/2002 - NGC will offer Onsite Grading and Encapsulating at The Suburban Washington/ Baltimore Coin Show in Baltimore, MD, November 7-8, 2002. In addition to the $100 and $50 Same Day show services normally offered, NGC will also run a $30 Same Day Gold Special.
